Baker Mayfield Had 5-Word Reaction To Nick Chubb's Injury

On Monday night, Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb suffered a severe knee injury.

His knee bent in an unnatural position, causing him to be taken off the field during the first half.

With the injury, he was then ruled out for the season.

After learning of Chubb's injuries, everyone in the NFL, including one of his former colleagues, Baker Mayfield, felt terrible for him.

Nick, I adore you..."Prayers up," Mayfield wrote on Twitter.

Mayfield and Chubb played together for several seasons before the former was traded to the Carolina Panthers.

He was later moved to the Los Angeles Rams before joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The loss of Chubb for the season is a huge blow for the Browns. He's one of the top running backs in the league and was having a great night against the Pittsburgh Steelers with 10 touches for 64 yards before getting wounded.

Here's hoping the gifted running back recovers quickly. This year's league will be different without him.
