The Dallas Cowboys suffered a setback in their running back department earlier this week after Ronald Jones was suspended for 2 games.
The punishment had been related to a positive performance-enhancing drug test
but Jones says it was a heart medication.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Jones, a veteran tailback, highlighted his willingness to clear his identity.
He stressed that the medication in question was not steroids, which is a cardiac stimulator.
Following his explanation, the NFL still suspended him for two matches.
Jones played for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022, gaining 70 yards on 17 rushes and kicking a field a desired outcome.
