Cowboys Running Back Ronald Jones Explains What Caused 2-Game Suspension

The Dallas Cowboys suffered a setback in their running back department earlier this week after Ronald Jones was suspended for 2 games.

The punishment had been related to a positive performance-enhancing drug test

but Jones says it was a heart medication.

During a press conference on Tuesday, Jones, a veteran tailback, highlighted his willingness to clear his identity.

He stressed that the medication in question was not steroids, which is a cardiac stimulator.

Following his explanation, the NFL still suspended him for two matches.

Jones played for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022, gaining 70 yards on 17 rushes and kicking a field a desired outcome.

Ronald Jones' ban has alarmed the Dallas Cowboys,

but he is determined to keep himself and confirm that the positive test was caused by his heart medication, not performance-enhancing drugs.
