On Monday night, it was difficult not to hear the Acrisure Stadium crowd clamoring for offensive coordinator Matt Canada's job.
After the game, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin addressed the chanting.
"I appreciate their passion," Tomlin said of the supporters, according to ESPN's Brooke Pryor.
"This is the sports entertainment industry." It is our responsibility to win and thereby delight them.
We don't blame them for it. We want them to be chubby, snarky, and spoilt. That is our responsibility."
Despite the offense, Pittsburgh's defense was able to salvage the day and get the Steelers back to 500 as they enter a softer stretch of their schedule.
T.J. Watt once again showed why he's one of the game's most imposing forces off the edge, with four tackles, four QB hits, a pass deflection, and the game-winning scoop-and-score.
Since Canada took over in 2021, the Steeler's offensive has left a lot to be desired.
But Tomlin has been faithful to him throughout his difficulties.
